Tracy Owen, Industrial Relations Government at Paramount, Dies at 43

Tracy Owen, senior vp industrial relations for Paramount Footage and Paramount Tv Studios, died Oct. 1 in Los Angeles after struggling a stroke. She was 43.
“Since first becoming a member of our staff over 10 years in the past, Tracy has been a vivid mild who touched the lives of all who had the privilege of working beside her,” Nicole Lang, govt vp industrial relations & manufacturing security at Paramount, stated in an announcement.

Tracy Elizabeth Owen graduated from Colorado State College in 2001 and earned her legislation doctorate from the College of Texas at Austin in ’05. She then served as an affiliate at Latham & Watkins from 2005-08, at Hodel Briggs Winter from 2008-10 and at Mitchell Silberberg & Krupp from 2010-13.
She got here to Paramount as a senior legal professional in worker relations authorized providers in 2013 and was promoted to vp industrial relations in October 2016 and senior vp in October 2022.
Owen created insurance policies and practices that “enhanced the work expertise and lives of our union inhabitants,” the studio famous. “She additionally helped flip the division from a reactive group to a proactive, revered and trusted useful resource and was a mentor and optimistic power to all who had been lucky sufficient to work along with her.”
