Shawn Levy Talks Why He Wished to Direct ‘All of the Gentle We Can not See’: “Not like Something I’ve Ever Made”

Shawn Levy opens up about why he felt drawn to direct Netflix‘s new miniseries All of the Gentle We Can not See.
The Steven Knight-created four-episode collection, tailored from the bestselling novel of the identical title by Anthony Doerr, follows Marie-Laure, a blind French teen, who varieties an unlikely relationship with a German soldier, Werner, after she takes refuge from World Warfare II in her uncle’s city in France.

Levy is thought for his work on previous initiatives which vary from Cheaper by the Dozen, Deadpool, Free Man, Stranger Issues, Arrival and Night time on the Museum, the latter three of which his manufacturing firm, 21 Laps Leisure, produced.
