A gaggle of protesters demonstrating towards what they referred to as the “rape tradition” of the Venice Movie Pageant marched previous the competition’s crimson carpet throughout the world premiere of Woody Allen’s Coup de Probability.
The group, which was round 20 folks, shouted slogans like “no rape tradition”; “we’re talking for these and not using a voice towards the director predators”; “a rapist is just not a sick man, he’s the wholesome son of patriarchy”; “No highlight for rapist administrators”; and “The alpha male doesn’t exist.”
The protestors started their demonstration simply as Allen stepped onto the crimson carpet of his movie. They stopped shortly previous the carpet, forming a line and taking off their shirts earlier than chanting extra.
