Jessica Lange, Jim Parsons and Celia Keenan-Bolger will star on the earth premiere of Mom Play on Broadway.
The play, written by Pulitzer Prize winner Paula Vogel, who wrote How I Realized to Drive and Indecent, and directed by Tina Landau, will play a restricted engagement at Second Stage’s Hayes Theater beginning April 2, with a gap night time on April 25.
This marks Lange’s first return to Broadway since she starred as Mary Tyrone within the 2016 revival of A Lengthy Day’s Journey Into Night time, for which she acquired a Tony Award for lead actress in a play. The American Horror Story and Tootsie star made her Broadway debut in A Streetcar Named Want and in addition appeared in The Glass Menagerie on Broadway.
